Sa pagpapatuloy ng Season 49 PBA Governors’ Cup Finals, target ng TNT Tropang Giga ang 2-0 lead kontra Barangay Ginebra mamayang gabi sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Ayon kay TNT coach Chot Reyes, muli nilang aasahan ng koponan ang playing performance nina Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at Rey Nambatac, kasama na sina Jayson Castro at Poy Erram.

“That’s why they’re there. They’re veterans. They know what to do in these situations. It’s not only the points they scored, it’s the other things that they do,” ani Reyes.

As veterans, their job is to stabilize and take advantage of opportunities. We know the strength of Ginebra. We looked at the numbers and we focused really on that - taking away their strengths and really making sure we lean on our strength which is our ability to stop teams and play defense,” dagdag pa ni Reyes.

“We have to run around and move on, see what we can do to change our fortunes in Game Two. We’ll see what we can do about it,” saad naman ni Ginebra head coach Tim Cone.
