Philippine Athletics Championships 2025 isasagawa sa Tarlac City

Nakatakdang isagawa sa bansa ang Philippine Athletics Championships 2025 sa Mayo 1 hanggang 4 sa New Clark City sa Capas, Tarlac.
Sinabi ni national coach Dario de Rosas, na kasama sa mga maglalaro dito ang dalawa sa mga Paris Olympian na sina Lauren Hoffman at John Tolentino na kapwa handa na at sabik nang sumabak sa naturang torneo.
“That’s why everybody is excited for this event. Even our national athletes and Paris Olympians John Tolentino Cabang and Lauren Hoffman are excited,” ani De Rosas.
“Our Olympians and Fil-foreign athletes are more excited to showcase their talents. And that’s why we expect good performances and of course new records. Our national team members will all be here because it’s a requirement,” dagdag naman ni national coach Jeoffrey Chua.
Ayon naman kay Reli de Leon, special assistant to Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (Patafa), nasa mahigit 800 mga atleta ang lalahok mula sa 60 mga bansa ang dadayo sa bansa para sa nasabing torneo.
“The event serves as the basis for the selection of our national team to the Southeast Asian Games in Thailand in December so we expect the best performances from them,” ani De Leon.
Sa pamamagitan ng torneyong ito ay susubukan din ng delegasyong ng bawat bansa na makapag-qualify sa World Championships sa Japan sa Setyembre.
