PBA: Coach Guiao to Fuller: “He's better than ever.”

Pinuri ni Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao ang naging performance ng kanyang import na si Aaron Fuller matapos ang kanilang naging laban kagabi kontra SMB na naghatid sa kanila ng tagumpay sa score na 122-112, sa nagpapatuloy na PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup. 

Dahil sa panalo ng Elasto Painters, solo na nito ang unang pwesto sa Group B at pasok na rin ito sa quarterfinals. Ayon kay Guiao, si Fuller umano ang uri ng import na may presence of mind kung kaya napapanatili ang balanse ang laro ng bawat players sa koponan, at mas mahusay na rin aniya ito ngayon kaysa dati. 

"He's the kind of player that we were looking for, someone who could provide us the inside presence, get the rebounds and defend bigger players at the post. An import who could average around 20 points and 15-plus rebounds because in our system, we don't want a player who's ball-dominant. But I do believe Aaron is playing much better as his situation is different from the last time we have him six years ago. He's better than ever," ani Guiao.

Samantalang nasa ikalimang tour of duty na si Fuller sa PBA, bukod sa ROS at NLEX, naglaro na rin siya para sa Blackwater. Sinabi naman ni Fuller na napakapalad niya dahil binigyan pa siya ng pagkakataong makabalik at maglarong muli kasama ang isang coach na alam kung paano dalhin at alagaan ang mga manlalaro.

"I played for him before at NLEX, so I pretty much know the system. Everything is lined up perfectly and everything kinda fell into place. It's just great to be back,” saad ni Fuller.
