Boxing: Mexican fighter na makakalaban ni Jerusalem dumating na sa bansa

Nasa bansa na ang Mexican boxer na si Luis Castillo na siyang makakalaban ni reigning WBC minimumweight champion na si Melvin Jerusalem sa darating na Linggo, September 22 sa Mandaluyong City. 

Dumating sa bansa si Castillo na puno ng kumpiyansa at tiwala sa sarili na mapapatumba nito si Jerusalem. Kasama ni Castillo na dumating sa bansa ang trainer niyang si  Eduardo Montiel, Adriana Penuelas at ang isa pang boksingero na si Angel Francisco Sandoval, na lalaban sa undercard ng slugfest na inilalagay ng Blow-By-Blow television show ni Manny Pacquiao. 

Kasalukuyang hawak ni Castillo ang 21-0-1 win-loss-draw record kung saan 13 sa mga panalo nito ay KO’s. 

Sa Press Conference na isinagawa ng Philippine Sports Writers Assosciation, sinabi ng trainer ni Castillo na si Eduardo Montiel na kumpiyansa ang kanilang kampo na makukuha ni Castllio  ang panalo kontra sa Pinoy boxer kahit pa masasabi niyang magiging mahirap na laban ito sa pagitan nilang dalawa. 

“I feel very confident with this great fight although it's going to be a tough fight against the  Filipino, and with our experience, we always have hot and exciting fights. In this case, Jerusalem, has also a mexican style and he surprise me in his fight in Japan and we are proud to have him in fight and to be have here in the Philippines” ani Montiel. 

Samantala, si Castillo ay itinuturing ngayon na mapanganib na boksingero na makakaharap ni Jerusalem kung kaya naman maging ang kapwa nitong boksingero na si Pedro Taduran ay pinapag-iingat ito sa mga kamay ni Castillo. 

Ayon kay Taduran, hindi dapat na maging labis na kumpiyansa si Jerusalem sa laban nito at sinabi nitong dapat maging mapagbantay ito lalo na ang atake ng kaliwang kamay ni Castillo. 

“Don’t be overconfident and also watch out for his (Castillo) left hand. “If he keeps this in mind, he will retain the title,” ani Taduran.
